Biomass

Organic matter available on a continuous or recurring basis. Biomass includes timber and mill residues, agricultural crops and wastes, wood and wood wastes, animal wastes, livestock operation effluent, aquatic plants, fast-growing trees and plants, and municipal and industrial wastes.

Pretty much anything that grows or is excreted by living organisms could be considered as biomass.
