Grid

The framework of a battery plate that supports the active material and also serves as the current-collector.

The network of production sites and plants, wires and towers, and end user service connections which produce, distribute and at times consume (buyback) electricity. Generally thought of anything which the producer owns that transmits electricity is considered part of the grid.
