Right Hand Rule
The right hand rule is a mnemonic device used in physics to remind oneself of the relative angles of the direction of magnetic field, direction of current, and direction of movement. Usually the thumb, forefinger, and middle finger are all oriented perpendicular to one another, and one vector is assigned to each finger.
There is also a left hand rule that encompasses the same process except it is used for a negative charge as oppose to a positive one.
