Tracker

A tracker is a device that will move an array of solar panels so that they will follow the (appearant) movement of the sun across the sky. Like that the panels will always be close to perpendicular to the suns radiation, which will in turn cause them to generate quite a bit more power. A typical installation with a tracker installed gives up to 50% more power than one without.

To be good trackers need to be of a very solid construction (there is a lot of money sitting on top of that pole!), allow for seasonal adjustments and they need to sit on a solid foundation.
