Windmill

A windmill is very high on our wishlist, I have received a broken one (it fell 150 feet from a tower) and have managed to fix up the rotor. I still need to have a few pieces of it replaced and then I have to make blades.

It still remains to be seen if it runs true enough to be used, believe me when I tell you that that fall had seriously damaged the machine, it's a miracle that it is restorable at all.

It's a south-west windpower whisper model 1500, and with a little luck we will still have it online and producing power this year. If not we'll have to wait until next spring. (winter here is nothing to trifle with!)
